My first swim in the ocean 2012, may 22:nd, far up north by the way

Freeeezing....... frick'n cold water! Numb toes and warm face and two crazy turists on the beach, a perfect mix for a perfect day. We found this beach in Ramsberg, pretty far south on Lofoten which is pretty far north in Norway. Here we had our first swim for the year in may 22:nd, yep may 22:nd. arriving to Lofoten

Lofoten sett från åvan Finally I'm arriving to Lofoten, up north in Norway. A place I've longed to see for quite some time now. The small airplane with approximately 25 seats? takes me from Bodø to Leknes. You can actually see Bodø on the photo above, I used to work there a year ago. Underneath you can see the harch nature of Lofoten from above. This will be my home for the next 5 weeks and I'll love every single second of it, I'm sure! Lofoten, Norway Lofoten Norway The view from my window, not bad huh. View from my window. Gravdal, Norway May 17:th is the national day of Norway and as usual it's celebrated with flags, orchestra and parad. All pictures is taken in Leknes and the people is dressed in their provincial costumes. There are three different styles and colors here, one is (dark) blue for Lofoten [Lofot-bunad] and the two other is blue or green outfit for Nordland, a county in the Northern Norway region. The colors blue and green symbolizes the coast and land. 17maj firande i Leknes 17maj firande i Leknes
